glucophage side effects?

I have been on 1500 mg of Glucophage since August of 08. I am still having side effects from the medication.

I was wondering how long you had the side effects for or are still having them.

and i don't have diabetes, i have

Doctor wanted me to advance my Glucophage to 2000 mg per day. It gave me the runs so bad that I cut it back to the original 1000 mg per day and am much happier.

Talk to the doctor and peradventure cut it back a little.
